- ePost credentials: your ePost login details, stored in encrypted form
- Mail content: letters and documents synced from your ePost account
- Usage data: interaction logs, feature usage, and performance metrics

3. Purpose of Processing
Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:
- Mail management: syncing, organizing, and displaying your ePost mail
- AI analysis: content analysis and categorization via Anthropic Claude to help you manage your mail
- Notifications: email alerts about new mail, deadlines, and important updates
- Service improvement: analyzing usage patterns to improve SwissHub's features and reliability
4. Data Processors
We use the following third-party processors to operate SwissHub. All processors are contractually bound to protect your data:
- Supabase: database hosting (EU region eu-central-1, PostgreSQL)
- AWS S3: file storage (EU region eu-central-1)
- Anthropic: AI-powered mail analysis (Claude)
- Sentry: error tracking and application monitoring
- Vercel: application hosting and deployment
- Resend: transactional email delivery
5. Data Retention
Your account data is retained for as long as your account remains active. Upon account deletion, all personal data — including mail content, credentials, and usage data — is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.

Under the Swiss FADP, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access: request a copy of your personal data
- Right to rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to deletion: request the erasure of your personal data

- Necessary cookies: session management and language preferences — these are essential for the service to function and cannot be disabled
- Analytics cookies: usage statistics to help us improve the service — these are only set with your explicit consent (opt-in)
